

In Italy, the official season will start on Sunday 8th August. That day will see the start of the Coppa Italia Tim Cup 2010/11 edition. It will kick-off with the First Preliminary Round on a konock-out basis.
A week later, on Sunday 15th the second round will be played. This too will be on a knock-out basis, the last of the Summer period.
The TIM Cup will be back in October (the 27th), with the third round. A month later (on the 25th or 30th November) the fourth round will be played.
As from December the competition will get into full swing. The final 16 will be played on 9th or 14th December or the 12th of January, a round which will see the seeded teams (including Juventus) in action. On Wedmesday 26th January the quarter-finals will be played, the last round on knock-out basis.
The semi-finals will be played on home and away basis with the first leg on the 20th April and the return on the 11th May.
The final will be again on knock-out basis with the date yet to be decided between the 29th May and the 11th June.
