Del Neri: «We started off badly but the championship has just begun»

After four victories in the Europa League, the championship began on the wrong foot. In Bari Juventus lost by 1-0 thanks to a great goal by Donati. The defeat at the San Nicola will now leave some time to international matches and brings the first two months of the season to an end.

At the end of the match Del Neri commented by saying: «We started off on the wrong foot but the championship has just begun and certainly does not end here. We must work hard and we knew this beforehand. We did not play a good match and I this could be seen but there were also positive aspects such as the character and the will to fight till the end notwithstanding being one man down due to Martinez’s injury. We gave them a normal number of opportunities and conceded a great goal. We must improve on an attention level because the goal was conceded due to a quickly taken free-kick. The transfer market? In the meantime we must recover Amauri and Iaquinta and then we have Aquilani. We must consider the economical aspect before making any new signings».
