Armand Traoré: new power for the left flank

The left fullback has been signed from Arsenal on a temporary basis. Athletic freshness, phsyical strength and technique to give away: the Juventus left flank has been enriched with more quality thanks to the arrival of Armand Traoré from Arsenal.

The player joined the bianconeri on temporary basis for the 2010/11 season against a payment of €500,000.

He is yet to turn 21 and was born in Paris on the 8th October 1989. Traorè began his still short but intense career under the guidance of Arsene Wenger who he joined in 2006 at 16 years of age.

In his first season, Traorè gained space in the Gunners line-up playing especially in the FA Cup making his debut in the Premier League during the following season on the 5th April 2008 against Liverpool. During the 2008/09 championship he was loaned to Portsmouth after collecting 28 appearances and scoring his first goal on the 18th May 2009 against Sunderland.

He was part of the Under 19 and the Under 21 national teams. The Frenchman returned to Arsenal last season where he played various matches from the starting line-up including the big matches against Chelsea and Liverpool. He is now a Juventus player.
