Del Neri: «Finding credibility again»

From July 1st Luigi Del Neri will start his adventure on Juventus bench. An important task, a stimulating task, like he says during the interview for Radio Anch’Io lo sport: «Of course it’s an important and demanding calling, after such a season we must find credibility again and the Club is looking for this. For me is a stimulating task because it gives me the chance to try high-level, it’s stimulating because it’s an arrival point but also a starting one to achieve results that I have not yet achieved».

When they tell him about revolution, Del Neri answers: «I’d rather speak of improvement, as I don’t believe that such a group of champions and such a Club need a revolution. Juventus chose me and they know how I develop my way of playing: a trainer is responsible for organizing the team at best: any variation during the matches will always be for positivity». He does not speak about single players but to who says that Buffon is a little decreasing, he answers: «Judging singularly is reductive; Juventus had a difficult year for many reasons. There are periods like that, but I believe that if Buffon was called to defend the Italian National Team he can also play for his club. I confirm, a fundamental passage for Juventus is being credible again and I will fight for that. Clubs such as Juventus or Milan must head to all important targets. Juventus must be in this state of mind and must find the strength to get to that. We must have the mentality to achieve all targets: we must do that for our Supporters, for the Ownership. We must work at best to get to results: this is Juventus’ main task».
