Diego: «I am very happy»

Diego’s joy is clear after the match, and most rightly so considering that he scored a beautiful match, just 2 minutes from kick-off: «It was a very important match. I scored a beautiful goal and therefore I am very happy because it is a great joy for the whole team».

The Brazilian clicked well with Candreva: «Candreva is a very good player. He plays the ball well and I found myself really comfortable with him».

The team has shown clear progress: «We are improving. We played very well in the last 6 matches. We lost against Palermo, but this can happen. The coach is working well with us and the results can be seen».

Diego seems to be scoring only in away matches but according to the Brazilian ace: «It is just a coincidence. I must score in Turin too now, but the important thing is winning. When a team wins it augures well for the next match».
