New jersey unveiled

The new official kits for the 2010/2011 season have been unveiled at the Juventus Center in Vinovo.

Even this year, Nike wanted to give an innovative touch to the two new jerseys of Juventus. This time the innovations are not only with regards to the sytle motifs but even with regards to the composition itself of the jerseys which will be worn by the bianconeri during the season which has just kicked-off. For the first time in fact, they have been made entirely of recycled polyester. Every jersey has been produced from a maximum number of eight water bottles. Besides, in contrast to the ones used last season the quality of the jerseys themselves has improved. The jerseys have been made once again out of Dri-Fit fabric, which is 13% lighter then the preious one, this permitting the players to feel fresher.

With regards to the design, in particular that of the home jersey, the tradition of the black and white stripes has been reinterpreted through a geometric motif segmented in order to stress the distance between the two colours. The geometric motif is also present in the away jersey but is more accentuated with two red and green stripes on a white background in the centre of the jersey. The intention behind this is to honour the 14 million Juventus fans in Italy.
