Manninger: «These three points are very important»

The importance of the victory against Fiorentina is immediately voiced by Alex Manninger: «It was a delicate match which we wanted to win at all costs. These three points are very important also because the match could have ended in any way. Winning three points in Florence is very important».

Fiorentina played a good match but the back line of the bianconeri held on well: «The defence worked very well. We risked a bit but its because Fiorentina is an excellent team. In fact when Giorgio was injured we could see everybody’s will to hold on.We are Juve and therefore we are obliged to win».

The only black spot of the match is the mistake which led to the temporary equalizer: « I think we were not so sure exactly on what to do. We should have reacted before. The reaction was a bit late. Today I was forced to quite a few exits even because of the high balls. However we did well on the viola’s high balls».
