Del Piero: «There were good points notwithstanding the defeat»

From the joy due to the great goal scored against Strum Graz to the disappointment for the defeat against Bari: Alessandro Del Piero must change his mood. The debut in the championship did not go as everybody hoped it would but the captain is optimistic.

Here are the words of Del Piero on Juventus Channel: «We were certainly hoping for a better debut. Last week was a delicate one. There were many commitments and changes. We do not like to start off like this but everybody’s anger is a good sign. Today we improved with the passage of time. We were unlucky in a few episodes the last of which the injury suffered by Martinez, however there were good points notwithstanding the defeat. We must now take advantage of the break to work hard».
