Giulio Sala was born in Turin in 1973.
There are people who are ready to swear that one of the first words uttered was «goal», shouted after a goal by Bettega.
In reality he will shout it knowingly many more times, especially after the ones scored by Platini, his first and only idol. Those were shouts born in the living room of his house or at the stadium which would be heard only by his family and friends.
Later, after having taken up sciences at the lyceum and arts at university, the shouts will begin to be heard by the viewers during his football commentaries.
First at Rete 7, a Turin station where he worked for 5 years for which he had to follow also the other turin team (he finds this difficult to pronounce) and more recently on Juventus Channel which he joined during the first few months of 2007 after three years spent with the editorial team of juventus.com and the monthly “Hurra`Juventus” for which he is still a precious contributor.
He is married and the father of a beautiful daughter. Giulio still has a dream: that of lifting up the Champions League trophy as Juventus coach. In the mean time ne would be happy with commenting the victory.
